Meggan O'Mahony is a Colorado based singer, actress, musician and teacher. She attended the University of Colorado at Colorado Springs earning a BA in Recording Arts Communication and a MA in Curriculum and Instruction.
Meggan has performed regionally with the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center, Theatreworks, Opera Theatre of the Rockies and Pentacle Theatre. She has been a featured soloist with the Colorado Springs Chorale, The Chamber Singers of the Colorado Springs Chorale, and DCINY. Mrs. O'Mahony spent her teenage years breaking horses at a local ranch, belly dancing and singing in choirs. She became one of the youngest cantors for the Diocese of Colorado Springs at the age of 13. As a young adult, Meggan branched into Irish Step Dancing. Her figures team won 4th at the Western Regionals Oireachtas. She was on her way to competing in the solo prize-winner categories when she hung up her ghillies for motherhood.
After taking time away from performing to raise a family and have a career teaching, Meggan decided to step back into the world of theatre. She booked her first show, Bye, Bye Birdie, with the Fine Arts Center in Colorado Springs and hasn't looked back.
